Several months ago headlines about location recording of Iphones apeared and Apple gets into critics by the media. In the meantime Apple has delivered an update to enable or disable automatic position recording.
880 voluntary iPhone users have enabled position recording on their iPhone and supports the creaton of an amazing animation showing iPhone apereance throughout Europe.
The animation shows the movement of iPhone owners in April 2011 mainly in Germany and Great Britain. iPhones are animated as illuminated dots on a dark map. The time laps playback creates the firefly animation.
